Ferromet Marketing Co. Pvt. Limited was incorporated in the year 1984 with an intention of merging operations of various distribution and trading companies into one consolidated entity. The company was purely a distribution unit till early 2000’s distributing various types of raw materials such as Ferro Alloys Noble Alloys and Petroleum Coke to the various steel plants all over South India. The company is the oldest Ferro Alloys distributor in South India.

In 2002 the company started diversifying from being an exclusive distributor to an exporter of Ferro Alloys & Importer of Petro Chemicals for Pharmaceuticals Paint & Formaldehyde plants in Tamil Nadu.

In 2006 realizing the exponential potential in the renewable energy business the group established it's own wind farm in Thenkasi and Tirunelveli in Tamil Nadu and the same are currently operational.

In 2011 a separate entity Renaissance Recycling P Limited was created to develop a green field electronic waste recycling company with it's plant based in Manali Chennai. The plant is ready to start operations.

In 2014 the company diversified into exports of Agri commodities such as rice to Africa and has started doing sizeable volumes in this sector.
